Ruta Olmane has been working in the field of intellectual property for more than 20 years. Ruta advises Latvian and foreign clients on protection and defense of intellectual property objects. Her main activities include filing trademark applications, handling oppositions and appeals at the Latvian Patent Office and EUIPO, licensing, IPR infringement cases, seizure of counterfeit goods by customs or the police, litigation in courts of all instances. Managing Intellectual Property has included Ruta Olmane on the TOP 250 list of the world's most important women in the field of intellectual property for many years.
